The Human Figure
Influenced by the Classic Sculptures of Ancient Greece and Rome
as well as 19th Century French bronze sculptures of the human figure,
Mr. Getzen created a body of work in this tradition. These sculptures
show the beauty of the human form and in many instances depict
Mr. Getzen's vision of historical, biblical or mythical beings.
